During re-assembly of your machine, we use state-of-the-art
equipment to measure and pneumatically inject the proper amount of
lubrication into the heart of the mechanism.
New stop pads, bank bar pads, and
universal bar pads are installed, factory specified adjustments are set
and a new ribbon is installed.
During the final stages of assembly, the contacts are adjusted and a
complete diagnostics is performed. This includes all of the following (as
applicable):

Disk Drive is tested (format and
operation)

Real-time is tested (letters, numbers,
stenomarks)

Charging circuit is tested

Checked for acceptable noise levels

Machine is placed on an automatic
writer
and tested

Once
your machine is tested and deemed to be acceptable, it is tested a
second time by a quality control technician.
Only after
all tests pass, is your machine polished and prepared for return to the
customer, or placed in a free foam padded shipping box for shipment
back to the customer.
